Among others you should try local sausages, important ingredients of the
traditional dish fourtalia, local cheese, armexia or volaki,
petroti
and fine wine from Syneti. Don't miss "amygdalota" and "kaltsounia" (local
sweets) and honey from Agios Petros. If you attend a wedding or baptism taste
traditional soumada, while in Easter try labriatis
(stuffed lamb baked in an old oven). |
